This is a
work-in-progress. Records at the National Archives list keeper appointments
through 1912 only. The US Lighthouse Service civilian keepers continued
their service until 1939, when the Lighthouse Service merged with the
U.S. Coast Guard. A few station logs of USCG keepers from the 1950s and
1960s have provided some names during that period. If you know of others
with documented service at Thomas Point Shoal lighthouse, please contact
us (hblr@cox.net; sandy@clunies.net) so we can continue to expand our keeper list.
